Open Question: Need serious advice on women?
So recently i been on a good diet n goin to the gym and lost about 70lbs…i consider myself a decent looking guy, but for some reason i cant build up the confidence to talk to a gurl…i mean i flirt a little and am friendly but it never goes past that..i am feeling all this newfound confidence after losing weight but cant make the push…im very shy and want to be able to get gurls like my friends do… Also i dnt knw that many gurls… I want to go to parties n meet people but my crowd of friends r all in relationships and never wanna do anything so i get stuck doing boring stuff all the time… I guess what i am asking is advice on women and how to meet new peiple…any help would b koo cause idk what to do anymore, feelin really lonely thnx

Open Question: Why do people come to Yahoo Answers and criticise others for asking questions?
I mean…really people? I have seen so many rude and nasty answers. Pets is the only section on Yahoo answers where the people are so nasty. If you dont’ want to answer the questions just don’t answer them. I’ve seen people be very rude to teenagers, or to people who are just distraught when their pet is sick. Some answers say, Why are you asking us? Hello…because it’s a site where you go to ask questions. Most answers say, Go to the emergency vet. Well some towns, like my small town, don’t have such a thing. We have one vet and he will not see your pet unless you can pay cash in full. Some questioners intend to go to the vet as soon as they open the next day, but just want advice in the meantime. Then there are the ones who say, Turn your pet over to the humane society or shelter if you don’t want to take care of it. I don’t know where you live, but I had a dog that I rescued from a dumpster. This dog had mange so bad, he was just bloody all over. I took him home, tried to help him. The vet wouldn’t see him because I didn’t have $100 cash up front. The humane society said they had no space. Animal control would just put him in a cage for a few days then put him to sleep. That’s what I wound up doing, with no other choice. Most vets will NOT work with you on payment anymore. I nursed 2 puppies that were put out at a dumpster through parvo. The vet said I had to have $500 up front. I payed for the office visit and the medicines but couldn’t afford the clinic. One pup lived, the other suffered and died. And now there will be several who will answer this post saying, If you can’t afford the vet you shouldn’t have pets. Well all of my animals were rescued from dumps, cruel owners, the streets, etc. And even though I can’t always afford the best of medical care (not even for myself) they are better off with me than where I found them. And nobody else wants them, that’s why I have them in the first place. They are fed, sheltered, loved and well treated. And before anyone has the chance to say, Get a job…I have a steady job and income, just not a huge income. I spend most of my extra money on animals, even putting them ahead of myself. And while I agree that BYB’s are bad, everyone who has a pregnant female isn’t a BYB, and shouldn’t be treated like trash. Sorry but it just irks me to see some of the hateful answers that are given to people who are genuinely concerned about their pet.

Open Question: Should I ask my best friend to be my Girlfriend ?
We’ve known each other for 4 years. I hate when she talks about her ex (broken up for 9months now) confronted her about welcoming him with open legs everytime he’s in town and now shes *supposedly* over him as she said. I told her i had a one night stand at some party and she got all poofy faced and called me an asshole even tho shes been fuckin around with her ex on and off the whole past 9months. *although i didnt just said it for reaction* I’ve been holding out for that right girl that i can respect. But i just dont know if she needs someone to help keep her in check becuz ive been her guardian angel the past few years carryin her out of parties when shes wasted, been her shoulder to cry on, but im just annoyed now cuz she refuses to move on … GAHHH im just confused as fuck and need to hear some advice from someone else i think

Open Question: Does this story concept sound predictable and cliche?
i need to write another short story, but i’m not sure if this idea is predictable or boring. basically, a princess of a kingdom from the 14th century became obsessed with power and wealth so her first knight and soon to be fiance slew her at her throne. bent on vengeance, she became a wandering spirit, manifesting herself in the bodies of other women. 600 years later, the lastest host to her spirit is born and things happen and she becomes a wandering mercenary. (this is also based in a fictional location) She is arrested 4 years later and imprisoned for another 4 years. Meanwhile, delinquent boy of the town is arrested and forced into community service and forced to work as a prison guard as a warning of where he would eventually end up and as such, he becomes her caretaker (feeding her, cleaning her cell coz she’s chained up and unable to move) That’s all i have so far and that’s only enough for the first two or three chapters. I was also wondering if it would be cliche to have the delinquent boy kill her in the end (she wished for death to make amends for the lives she took as a travelling mercenary) but not make it evident until the epilogue after the final chapter. Opinions and Advice on what i can change would be greatly appreciated and if you think its a crap concept and very predictable and cliche please say so coz i really need to know what others think of it. Also if anyone could think of a name for this story i’d really appreciate it. i’ll try to give 10 points to the best answer.

Open Question: is it possible to start feeling pregnant symptoms after just 2 weeks?
I’m 24 and My Fiance and I normally use a condom, but about 2 weeks ago it came off in me and were unsure if it was before or after he came… I had just ended my monthly period 2 weeks prior to this… Today I feel sick to my stomach.. Could I really start feeling sick if I am Pregnant? Could this just be me stomach hurting because I’m psyching myself out? Any advice please Thanks for the answers…. Open Question: I REALLY want to be friends with this guy but its not working out!!?? what should i do? advice plz!?
theres this guy i like and me and him were kinda friends, and then i asked him to be friends and he said yes even though he probably didn’t want to be my friend, and then he got my friend to tell me that i creep him out and am stalker-ish. and then i left him alone for ages and then we kinda started talking again and things seemed okay but then my friend asked him if me and him were friends and he said no because im kinda like a stalker and he didnt want to be my friend. Then my other friend told me that most of his other friends who i was trying to be-friend thoughti was creepy too!!!
